Compatibility
This loudspeaker fits the Honor 9 only. It is not made for the Honor 9 Lite, Honor 9X or Honor 9N. The standard Honor 9 and the Honor 9 Lite use different parts. To confirm your model, open Settings > About phone and check the model name and number before you order.
Before you fit a new loudspeaker
Check that the fault is the Honor 9 loudspeaker and not a setting. Make sure the phone is not on silent or connected to a Bluetooth device, and clean the bottom speaker holes gently with a soft dry brush. If ringtones and media are still quiet or distorted, the loudspeaker is the likely fault. Fitting usually means opening the back cover and removing the lower cover or bracket, so a heat source, opening picks, a spudger and a small Phillips screwdriver are useful.

No. It is made for the Honor 9 only. The Honor 9 Lite needs its own loudspeaker, so check your model in Settings > About phone first.
How do I know the Honor 9 loudspeaker needs replacing?
If ringtones, alarms and media stay quiet, crackly or silent after you check settings, disconnect Bluetooth and clean the speaker holes, the loudspeaker is usually at fault.
Will this fix call audio when the phone is at my ear?
No. Audio at your ear comes from the earpiece speaker at the top. This loudspeaker handles ringtones, media and speakerphone.
Is it difficult to fit?
It is one of the simpler repairs, but you do need to open the back cover. Take your time, disconnect the battery first and keep track of each screw.
