Compatibility
This earpiece speaker fits the Honor 9 only. It is not made for the Honor 9 Lite, Honor 9X or Honor 9N. The standard Honor 9 and the Honor 9 Lite use different parts. To confirm your model, open Settings > About phone and check the model name and number before you order.
Is it the earpiece or something else?
Before you replace the Honor 9 earpiece speaker, clean the top grille gently with a soft dry brush, as dust and pocket lint often block sound. Test a call on loudspeaker: if speakerphone works but the earpiece is silent, the earpiece is the likely fault. Fitting usually means removing the back cover and a mid-frame or top bracket, so you will need a heat source, prying tools, a small Phillips screwdriver and care around the ribbon cables.

Will this earpiece speaker fit the Honor 9 Lite?
No. It is made for the Honor 9 only. The Honor 9 Lite needs its own earpiece speaker, so check your model in Settings > About phone first.
How do I know my Honor 9 earpiece speaker is faulty?
If callers are faint or crackly with the phone at your ear but clear on speakerphone, and cleaning the grille has not helped, the earpiece speaker is the most likely cause.
Is the earpiece the same as the loudspeaker?
No. The earpiece is the small top speaker used for calls. The loudspeaker at the bottom plays ringtones, media and speakerphone audio, and is sold separately.
Can I fit it myself?
