Compatibility
This battery fits the Honor 9 or Huawei P10. The Honor 9 and Huawei P10 share the same HB386280ECW cell, so one part covers both phones. It does not fit the Honor 9 Lite, Huawei P10 Plus or Huawei P10 Lite, which use different batteries. Honor phones share a lot of similar names, so check your exact model in Settings > About phone (Settings > About device on some versions) before ordering.
What you need to fit this battery
- A heat pad or hair dryer to soften the back cover adhesive.
- A suction cup, plastic opening picks and a spudger.
- A small Phillips screwdriver for the internal plate screws.
- Fresh back cover adhesive to reseal the phone after the repair.
Power the phone off first and disconnect the battery connector before anything else. Never pierce, bend or use metal tools to lever a battery out. Most repairers use isopropyl alcohol under the cell to release the old adhesive safely.

Frequently asked questions
Will this battery fit my Honor 9 or Huawei P10?
Yes, it is made for the Honor 9 or Huawei P10. Confirm your model in Settings > About phone before ordering, as similar-named Honor phones use different batteries.
Does this battery fit the Huawei P10 Plus or Honor 9 Lite?
No. This part is only for the Honor 9 or Huawei P10. It does not fit the Honor 9 Lite, Huawei P10 Plus or Huawei P10 Lite, which use different batteries.
How do I know my battery needs replacing?
Common signs are fast drain, shutdowns at 15 to 30 percent, slow or stalled charging, heat when charging and a swollen battery lifting the back cover. A swollen battery should be replaced straight away.
Should I calibrate the new battery?
After fitting, charge to 100 percent, then use the phone normally down to around 10 percent and charge fully again. The battery reading usually settles after a few cycles.
