How to replace a Pixel 9 Pro XL screen
The Pixel 9 Pro XL screen is secured with adhesive around the frame. Take your time on removal to protect the housing and the flex cable.
- Power the phone off and apply gentle, even heat around the edge of the old screen to soften the adhesive.
- Lift the screen slowly with a thin pick, taking care not to tear the display flex.
- Clean away old adhesive and fit a fresh adhesive seal before seating the new screen.
- Test picture, touch and fingerprint unlock before pressing the screen fully into place.
