- Open the Google Pixel 8a following a model-specific guide, then disconnect the battery connector first.
- Soften the old adhesive with gentle heat or a few drops of isopropyl alcohol and lift the battery slowly. Never bend or puncture it.
- Clean the old adhesive, fit fresh battery adhesive, seat the new battery and reconnect it.
- Reseal the phone and charge it to 100 percent.
