Compatibility
Fits the Samsung Galaxy A40 only. It does not fit the Galaxy A41, A50 or A42, which have different internal layouts. Check your model in Settings > About phone.
Before you replace the flex
Remove any case and check the buttons are not jammed by dirt or a bent frame. If the keys still do not respond, the flex is the most likely cause.
To fit it, you will need gentle heat, a plastic pry tool, a small Phillips screwdriver and new back cover adhesive. Remove the back cover and midframe, disconnect the battery, then replace the flex.
