Open the display with care, as the earpiece and flex sit at the top of the phone near the Face ID parts. Keep the Face ID components away from heat and pressure, as damage to them cannot be fixed by this flex. Test call audio and the proximity sensor (the screen should go dark near your ear) before you seal the phone.
