Compatibility

Before you replace the charging flex
Try a different cable and charger first, and clean the port gently with a wooden or plastic pick, as pocket lint often stops the plug seating. If the socket is still loose or the phone will not charge, the flex needs replacing. The job means removing the screen, battery, loudspeaker and several brackets, so you will need pentalobe and tri-point screwdrivers, a suction cup, spudgers and a new screen adhesive seal.
