Compatibility
Fits the iPhone 8 Plus only. It does not fit the smaller iPhone 8, the iPhone 7 Plus or the iPhone SE models, which use a different Taptic Engine shape and fitting. Check your model in Settings > General > About before ordering.

No. This motor is for the iPhone 8 Plus only. The standard iPhone 8 needs its own Taptic Engine.
Why does my iPhone 8 Plus Home button not click?
The click is created by the Taptic Engine, not a moving button. If the motor fails, the Home button can feel dead. Replacing the Taptic Engine for iPhone 8 Plus usually restores the feel.
Is it hard to fit?
It is a moderate DIY job. You need to open the screen, disconnect the battery, then remove a few screws and the connector cover near the bottom of the phone.
