Compatibility
Fits the iPhone 8 Plus only. It is not compatible with the iPhone 7 Plus, even though the two phones look alike, and it does not fit the iPhone 8. Check your model in Settings > General > About.
iPhone 7 Plus or 8 Plus camera?
The iPhone 7 Plus and iPhone 8 Plus cameras look similar but are not interchangeable. The 8 Plus has a glass back while the 7 Plus has an aluminium back, which is a quick way to tell them apart. Always confirm the model in Settings before ordering a camera.

No. The iPhone 7 Plus uses a different dual camera module.
Why does Portrait mode say it is unavailable?
Portrait mode needs both rear cameras. If one lens has failed, replacing the module usually brings it back.
Do I need to remove the screen?
Yes. The camera is reached from the front after removing the display and disconnecting the battery.
