Compatibility
Fits the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus. It does not fit the iPhone 7, 7 Plus, 8 or 8 Plus, which use a solid-state home button. Check your model in Settings > General > About before ordering.
Touch ID and replacement home buttons
On the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus, the fingerprint sensor inside the home button is paired to the logic board at the factory. A replacement button restores the physical home click, but Touch ID will not work with it. You can still unlock with your passcode.
If your old button still works for Touch ID and only the glass or screen is damaged, move the old button across instead. Choose this part when the old button is cracked, missing or no longer clicks.
