Compatibility
Fits the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus. It does not fit the iPhone 7, 7 Plus, 8 or 8 Plus, which use a solid-state home button. Check your model in Settings > General > About before ordering.
What you need to fit it
You will need pentalobe and Phillips screwdrivers, a suction cup and a spudger. Take off the display, remove the home button bracket, then gently lift the old button and its flex away from the screen.
Seat the new button, reconnect the flex, refit the bracket and test before closing the phone. Note that Touch ID is paired to the logic board, so a replacement button restores the home click only.
