How to fit an iPhone 13 front camera
The screen must be removed to reach the front camera, so you will need a heat source, a suction cup, opening picks, precision screwdrivers and new screen adhesive. Disconnect the battery first, then lift out the old camera and seat the new one carefully so the lens lines up with the opening in the display.

No. Face ID uses separate sensors paired to the phone. This part repairs the selfie camera only.
Do I need to remove the screen?
Yes. The front camera sits under the display, so the screen has to come off first.
Will iOS show a message about the camera?
iOS may show a notice in Settings that the camera could not be verified as an Apple part. This is normal for replacement cameras on this generation and the camera still takes photos and video.
