Front camera and Face ID are separate faults
The front camera takes selfies and video. Face ID uses separate sensors in the same area that are paired to the phone's logic board. This part repairs the selfie camera only. If your phone says Face ID is unavailable, replacing the front camera will not fix that fault, so diagnose which function has failed before ordering.
