iPhone 12 back glass compatibility
Fits the iPhone 12 only. It does not fit the iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12 Pro, iPhone 12 Pro Max or any iPhone 13 model. The iPhone 12 Pro shares the same screen size but has a three-lens camera and a frosted back, so the camera opening is a different shape. Check your model in Settings > General > About, or look up the model number shown there, before ordering.
How is back glass fitted?
On the iPhone 12 the rear glass is bonded to the frame, so the old glass has to be removed before the new panel goes on. Repair shops usually use a laser separation machine or controlled heat to lift the broken glass, then clean the frame and bond the new panel with a suitable adhesive. Take care around the wireless charging coil and cameras. If you have never done this repair, a local repair shop can fit it for you.
