The Repair Plus Ear Speaker with Proximity Light Sensor Flex Cable for iPhone 12 Pro Max is a brand new, OEM standard replacement earpiece speaker with proximity and light sensor flex assembly for the iPhone 12 Pro Max. It fixes quiet, crackling or silent call audio and a screen that stays on during calls. Tested before dispatch and shipped the same day from Manchester when you order before 4pm, Monday to Friday.
Key features
- All-in-one front module: the earpiece speaker with proximity and light sensor flex come on one flex, so one part covers several faults.
- Clear call audio again: replaces a worn, blocked or damaged earpiece that sounds quiet, muffled or distorted.
- Proximity sensing restored: the screen switches off at your ear, so no more accidental cheek presses during calls.
- Made for iPhone 12 Pro Max: OEM standard connector, flex length and mounting points for this model.
- Tested before dispatch: checked before it leaves our Manchester warehouse.

iPhone 12 Pro Max earpiece compatibility
Fits the iPhone 12 Pro Max. It does not fit the iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12 or iPhone 12 Pro, which use different top speaker and sensor assemblies. Check your model in Settings > General > About before ordering.
Face ID and the sensor flex
On the iPhone 12 Pro Max the front sensor parts work alongside the Face ID system. Fitting a replacement sensor flex can stop Face ID from working, as the phone may not accept a new component in that system. If Face ID matters to you, keep the phone's existing sensor parts wherever possible and only replace the flex when the earpiece or proximity sensor has actually failed. Handle the flex gently, as it is thin and easy to crease.

Frequently asked questions
Will this flex cable fit the iPhone 12 Pro?
No. This part is made for the iPhone 12 Pro Max only. The iPhone 12 Pro has a different layout and needs its own part.
Will Face ID still work after fitting it?
Face ID may stop working after a sensor flex replacement on Face ID models, because the front sensors are linked to that system. Keep your existing parts if Face ID is essential.
Does it fix a screen that stays on during calls?
Yes, when the fault is a failed proximity sensor. This flex includes the proximity sensor that turns the display off when the phone is at your ear.
How quickly will it arrive?
Orders placed before 4pm, Monday to Friday, are dispatched the same day from Manchester.
