iPhone 12 Pro Max back glass compatibility
Fits the iPhone 12 Pro Max only. It does not fit the iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro, iPhone 13 Pro Max or any other model. The iPhone 13 Pro Max looks similar from the front, but its camera bump is larger, so the camera opening does not match. Check your model in Settings > General > About, or look up the model number shown there, before ordering.
How is back glass fitted?
On the iPhone 12 Pro Max the rear glass is bonded to the frame, so the old glass has to be removed before the new panel goes on. Repair shops usually use a laser separation machine or controlled heat to lift the broken glass, then clean the frame and bond the new panel with a suitable adhesive. Take care around the wireless charging coil and cameras. If you have never done this repair, a local repair shop can fit it for you.
