Compatibility
Fits the iPad Pro 12.9-inch 2nd generation (2017). It does not fit the 1st generation iPad Pro 12.9 (2015), which uses a 9237mAh battery, or the 3rd generation and later models. How to replace the battery
Heat the screen edges evenly and lift the display with picks and a suction cup, keeping clear of the display cables. Disconnect the battery first, then release the battery adhesive with isopropyl alcohol and plastic tools. Fit the new battery, reconnect everything and reseal the screen with new adhesive.
