Compatibility
Fits the iPad Pro 10.5-inch (2017), model numbers A1701, A1709 and A1852. It does not fit the iPad Pro 9.7-inch, iPad Air (3rd generation) or iPad Pro 11-inch. Check your model in Settings > General > About, or read the A-number printed on the back of the case. Choose the black version if your iPad has a black front.
Touch ID and home button repairs
Touch ID is paired to the iPad's logic board at the factory. A replacement home button restores the press function, but fingerprint unlock will not work with a new sensor. If only the button action has failed, try to keep your existing sensor in place and replace the flex; if the sensor itself is broken, this part gets the button working again for everyday use.
