Compatibility
Fits the iPad Mini 1 (A1432, A1454, A1455) and iPad Mini 2 (A1489, A1490, A1491). It does not fit the iPad Mini 3, which uses a different digitiser for its Touch ID home button, or the iPad Mini 4, where the glass and LCD are fused together. Check your model in Settings > General > About, or read the A-number printed on the back of the case before ordering.
Glass or LCD: which part is broken?
If the iPad still shows a clear picture under the cracks but touch is patchy or dead, the digitiser is the fault and this panel is the fix. If you see black patches, lines or bleeding colours, the LCD underneath is damaged and needs replacing as well.
Fitting needs gentle heat, opening picks and fresh adhesive, as the glass is glued into the aluminium frame.

No. The iPad Mini 3 needs its own digitiser. This panel fits the iPad Mini 1 and iPad Mini 2 only.
Is the home button already attached?
Yes. The home button assembly comes fitted to the panel, so you do not need to transfer your old one.
Is it hard to fit?
It is a moderate repair. The glass is glued to the frame, so you will need heat, opening picks and new adhesive. Take care not to damage the LCD while lifting the old glass.
