Compatibility
Fits the iPad mini (1st generation, 2012) and the iPad mini 2 (2013). It does not fit the iPad mini 3, mini 4 or later models, or any full-size iPad. To confirm, check the model name in Settings > General > About, or read the A-number printed in small text on the back of the case: iPad mini is A1432, A1454 or A1455, and iPad mini 2 is A1489, A1490 or A1491.
Fitting tips for the iPad mini
Heat the edges evenly, lift the glass slowly with plastic picks and keep tools away from the thin LCD. Clean the frame of old adhesive, apply fresh strips, connect and test the new digitiser, then press it into place. Neither model has Touch ID, so the fitted home button is ready to use.
