Compatibility
Fits the iPad Air (1st generation) and the iPad 5 (2017). It does not fit the iPad Air 2, which uses a laminated screen, or the 10.2-inch iPad 7, 8 and 9. To confirm, check the model name in Settings > General > About, or read the A-number printed in small text on the back of the case: iPad Air is A1474, A1475 or A1476, and iPad 5 is A1822 or A1823.
Home button and Touch ID
This digitiser has a home button fitted so the iPad can be used straight away. On the iPad 5, Touch ID is tied to your own button, so move your existing button across if you want fingerprint unlock. On the iPad Air (1st generation) there is no Touch ID, so the fitted button is ready to use.

Does this fit both the iPad Air and iPad 5?
Yes. It fits the iPad Air (1st generation, 2013) and the iPad 5 (2017), which use the same 9.7-inch digitiser layout.
Will Touch ID work on my iPad 5?
Touch ID on the iPad 5 is paired to the logic board. The pre-fitted button works as a home button, but to keep Touch ID you must move your existing home button onto the new glass. The iPad Air (1st generation) has no Touch ID.
Is the LCD included?
No. This is the digitiser glass with home button. If you see lines or no picture, you also need an LCD.
How fast is delivery?
