Compatibility
Fits the iPad Air (1st generation), iPad 5 (2017) and iPad 6 (2018). It does not fit the iPad Air 2, iPad Air 3 or iPad Air 4, which each use a different charging port flex. Check your model in Settings > General > About, or read the A-number printed on the back of the iPad.
What you need to fit it
iPad screens are held in with adhesive, so fitting a charging port flex means lifting the display. Plan for a heat pad or heat gun, opening picks, a suction cup, precision screwdrivers, a spudger and new screen adhesive. Take care with the display and battery connectors, and test charging before you seal the screen down.
