Compatibility
Fits the iPad Air 2 (2014). It will not fit the first-generation iPad Air, iPad 5 or iPad 6 even though they look similar, as the flex layout is different. Check your model in Settings > General > About, or read the A-number printed on the back of the iPad.
What you need to fit it
iPad screens are held in with adhesive, so fitting a charging port flex means lifting the display. Plan for a heat pad or heat gun, opening picks, a suction cup, precision screwdrivers, a spudger and new screen adhesive. Take care with the display and battery connectors, and test charging before you seal the screen down.
