Compatibility
Fits the iPad 7 (2019) and iPad 8 (2020). It does not fit the 9.7-inch iPad 5 or iPad 6, the iPad Air models or the 10.9-inch iPad 10. To confirm, check the model name in Settings > General > About, or read the A-number printed in small text on the back of the case: iPad 7 is A2197, A2198 or A2200, and iPad 8 is A2270, A2428, A2429 or A2430.
What you need to fit it
Plan for adhesive strips for the glass, a heat source to soften the old adhesive, plastic picks and a suction cup. Remove the old glass carefully to protect the LCD underneath, move your home button across, then test touch before sealing the new glass down.
