Compatibility
Fits the iPad 7th generation 10.2-inch (2019). It is not listed for the iPad 8th or 9th generation, iPad Air or iPad Pro models. Check your model in Settings > General > About or look for the model number on the back of the iPad. A white version is also available.
Before you open your iPad
Check the fault with a second pair of headphones, and gently clean lint from the socket with a wooden toothpick. If sound is still missing or crackles when you move the plug, the jack is worn or damaged.
Fitting needs the screen to be removed. You will need a heat pad or heat gun, a suction cup, thin opening picks, a small Phillips screwdriver and new screen adhesive. Take care near the display and home button cables.
