How the repair works
The earpiece sits at the top of the display assembly, so the screen must be opened to reach it. Remove the screen, lift the old speaker, fit the new one and check calls and media sound before you reseal the phone. Replace the screen adhesive to keep dust out.

No. The iPhone 12 Pro uses a different earpiece. This one is for the iPhone 12 Pro Max only.
Why is my stereo sound one-sided?
