Low call volume is often caused by dirt in the speaker mesh. Clean the grille with a soft brush first. If sound is still quiet, crackly or missing, replace the speaker. Fitting it means removing the screen, so you need a pentalobe screwdriver, a tri-point screwdriver, a pry tool and a new screen adhesive.
