Compatibility
Fits the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 (M2003J15SC, M2003J15SG, M2003J15SS) and the Redmi 10X 4G. The Redmi 9 (M2004J19AG, M2004J19C, M2004J19G) also uses the BN54. It does not fit the Redmi Note 9 Pro or Redmi Note 9S, which use a different battery. Check your model in Settings > About phone, and confirm the old battery label reads BN54 once the phone is open.
How to fit the battery safely
Power the phone off, then remove the back cover with gentle heat and a thin pry tool. Unscrew the plate over the battery connector and disconnect the battery before anything else. Lift the old cell slowly using its pull tabs, or a little isopropyl alcohol under the edges, and never bend or puncture it. Fit the new battery with fresh adhesive, reconnect it, refit the cover and charge fully. Do not use a swollen or damaged battery.
