The Repair Plus iPhone 12 back housing (Red) replaces the damaged back and frame of an iPhone 12 with a brand new red housing, pre-assembled with back glass, aluminium frame and internal brackets. It suits cracked backs, bent frames and colour changes, is made to OEM standard, and is shipped the same day from Manchester when you order before 4pm, Monday to Friday.
Key features
- Complete assembly: back glass pre-fitted to the aluminium frame, so there is no need to laser or heat off broken glass.
- Fixes more than glass: replaces a bent, dented or scratched frame at the same time as a cracked back.
- Made for the iPhone 12: camera opening, button cut-outs and internal mounting points follow OEM standard dimensions for this model.
- Red finish: red back glass with a colour-matched frame, for a like-new look or a colour change.
- Tested before dispatch: each housing is checked for fit and finish.

Compatibility
Fits the iPhone 12 only (model numbers A2172, A2403, A2404). It does not fit the iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12 Pro or iPhone 12 Pro Max. The iPhone 12 Pro has the same screen size but a three-camera layout and a stainless steel frame, so its housing is different. Check your model name in Settings > General > About; tap the model number there to see the A-number.
Housing swap or back glass only?
A back glass replacement keeps your existing frame but needs a laser machine to remove the bonded glass. A full housing swap avoids that step and also replaces a bent or scratched frame, but every internal part must move across: logic board, battery, cameras, speakers, Taptic Engine, charging port and flex cables. Any small part not already fitted to this housing must be transferred from your old frame. Allow time and use the right screwdrivers.

Frequently asked questions
Will this housing fit my iPhone 12?
Yes, if your phone is an iPhone 12 with model number A2172, A2403 or A2404. It does not fit the iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12 Pro or iPhone 12 Pro Max.
Is the back glass already fitted?
Yes. The glass is pre-fitted to the aluminium frame, so you do not need a laser machine to remove broken glass. You move your internal parts into the new housing instead.
Will my phone still be water resistant?
Water resistance depends on the seals. Fit a new screen adhesive seal when you close the phone, and treat it with care around water after any repair.
