Compatibility
Fits the Huawei P20 Lite. It does not fit the Huawei P20, P20 Pro or P30 Lite, which use different batteries. Check your phone model in Settings > About phone before ordering.
Signs your battery needs replacing
- The phone drains quickly or does not last a full day.
- It shuts down suddenly at 20 to 30 per cent.
- The battery gets hot during normal use or charging.
- The back cover is lifting, which can mean the battery is swelling. Stop using the phone and replace the battery straight away.
To fit it, heat and remove the back cover, disconnect the battery connector first, then release the old battery with isopropyl alcohol and a plastic card. Never puncture or bend a lithium battery. Fit the new battery with fresh adhesive, reconnect it, and fully charge it before first use.
